SQUEEGEE BLADES
Polyurethane squeegee blades are produced in various sizes and hardnesses. The raw material of the squeegee affects the printing quality and durability. The squeegee rubber hardness is selected according to the pastes, pattern and base used. The squeegee rubber transfers the amount of ink to the base in proportion to its softness. As the hardness increases, the amount of ink that can be applied to the base decreases. Single and sandwich types are available.
50A shore soft squeegees are mostly used for printing light colors on dark surfaces.
60A-70A shore medium hard squeegees are preffered in the printing of screened, transitional and photo patterns.
80A shore hard squeegees are generally preferred to ensure a soft touch and to keep the pattern lines sharp and smooth.
